I'm hoping to book a family portrait session soon but I can't think of any good locations, could you recommend some?

Whether it's for family portraits, an engagement session, a maternity session, or any other kind of shoot our first recommendation when it comes to choosing a location is to pick a spot that is special to you! Since it's a spot you're already familiar with you'll feel more comfortable from the start and the photos will be more personal! We have a lot of families who choose to have photos done in their homes, this is a good option if you have little ones since everything they might need will be nearby
But if you'd rather leave the house and can't think of a location here are some of the places we've used before..
Pine Banks Park, Melrose MA- offers wooded trails, a large playground, sports fields, and a pond
Lake Quannapowitt, Wakefield MA- offers great views of the lake, a playground, and beautiful color when the trees change in the fall
Other good locations include:
- Cranes Beach, Ipswich MA
- Bearskin Neck, Rockport MA
- The Sheepfold, Stoneham MA
- Macks Apple Orchard, Londonderry NH
- Brooksby Farm, Peabody MA
